Handcrafted, hand-selected sustainably sourced teak furniture is truly unique, with no two pieces exactly alike. The variability in wood grains adds character and individuality, making each creation a one-of-a-kind treasure. Our teak furniture has a light waterbased protective coating to ensure that the natural essence of the wood is the focus rather than a highly polished over-glossed finish that detracts from the beauty of the grain. Cleaning is as simple as wiping with a damp cloth and maintenance every few years with a water-based teak sealant such as Golden-Care Teak Shield. Do not use teak oil, danish oil or any other varnish that inhibits the teaks ability to breathe. All of our teak furniture is for indoor use only unless specifically stated for 'outdoor use'. Using our teak furniture outdoors may result in damage and will void the 1 year manufacturers warranty. At Clement Studio, we take great care to inspect our solid wood products throughout the crafting process, ensuring the timber is well-prepared and seasoned. However, Australia’s diverse climates and environmental conditions can sometimes lead to natural developments such as small cracks, splits (commonly called checking), or a decrease in natural oils. These are not flaws but rather unique traits of solid wood, reflecting its organic origin. They enhance the character and individuality of the piece without affecting its quality, strength, or functionality, making each product truly one of a kind.
