Sven Palmqvist (1906–1984) was a prominent glass artist in Sweden during the 20th century. He studied at the University of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm and later worked for the Orrefors glassworks between the 1940s and 1970s. During this time, he developed several innovative glass techniques such as Kraka, Ravenna, and Fuga which helped to establish his reputation as an artist. His work is considered to be of high artistic value and is represented in many prestigious museums and galleries, including the Swedish National Museum of Art and Design. His works are highly sought after by glass collectors and enthusiasts.
