This foldaway round coffee table is designed by non-other than Torsten JOHANSSON (1917-1996) for AB Formträ in Sweden. The table is called 'TABLE BASSE D'APPOINT' and blurs the lines between art and practical furniture. Torsten JOHANSSON was famous for beautifully designed practical pieces and confronting sculptures. Very rare and very collectible, this is a premium MCM piece of history.
