Layby Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to Clement Studio's Layby Service. These terms and conditions govern the layby transactions conducted with Clement Studio. By entering into a layby agreement with us, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.

2. Layby Agreement

A layby agreement is a contract between Clement Studio and the customer for the purchase of goods, where the goods are paid for in installments and delivered once the total price has been paid in full.

3. Maximum Term

The maximum term for a layby agreement is 3 months from the date of purchase. It is recommended that payments be made on a fortnightly basis to ensure timely completion of the agreement.

4. Payment Schedule

Customers will receive an email outlining the payment schedule at the start of the layby agreement. If a payment is missed, the customer must contact Clement Studio to discuss the next steps. Failure to make payments as per the agreed schedule may result in cancellation of the layby agreement.

5. Administration Fee

An administration fee of $20 per month will be charged for the duration of the layby agreement. This fee covers the costs associated with managing the layby.

6. Cancellation Fee

If the layby agreement is canceled by the customer, a cancellation fee of $50 will be charged. In addition, 5% of the total purchase price will be charged as warehousing fees for the goods purchased.

7. Refunds and Exchanges

Refunds and exchanges are subject to Clement Studio's standard refund and exchange policy. If a layby is canceled, any payments made (minus the cancellation and warehousing fees) will be refunded to the customer.

8. Ownership of Goods

Ownership of the goods will remain with Clement Studio until the total purchase price has been paid in full. Goods will only be delivered to the customer once the layby agreement has been completed.

9. Amendments to Terms

Clement Studio reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to the customer in writing.
